Foery K. MacDonell

Foery K. MacDonell is an award-winning, published author of historical romance. Her passion for literature and history led her into writing at the age of 10. Foery has degrees in British Literature, Philosophy, Metaphysics, and an honorary degree in Scottish History. She is a member of Romance Writers of America™ and Cactus Rose.

A native Californian, she now lives in Las Vegas with her her Maine Coon cat, Guinness.

 

 

I am descended from three Scottish clans: the MacDonalds of Glencoe, the Aikens (Eakin) of the Isle of Skye, and the MacDonells of Glengarry. Although my family spelled their name MacDonell with one n, only the Chief Laird of Glengarry is allowed to use the Clan Badge and Clan Crest spelled that way. The rest of us may only use the Badge and Crest spelled with two nn's. Thus the varied spelling of clan names here at Moongyspy.com.
